United Airlines adds ten new routes to its network

United Airlines has announced the launch of ten new routes and the addition of two new destinations, Elmira, NY and Wilmington, NC, to its extensive network. Beginning on April 9, 2018, United will serve Wilmington, NC, and El Paso, TX twice-daily from its hub at Chicago O’Hare and Medford and Redmond, OR twice-daily from Los Angeles International Airport. United will also begin daily seasonal service to Fresno, CA from Chicago O’Hare and daily seasonal service to Kalispell and Missoula, MT from Los Angeles International Airport on June 7, 2018.

United also announced twice-daily service from Washington Dulles to Wilmington, NC; twice-daily service from Newark to Elmira, NY; and daily service to Jacksonville, FL from Denver International Airport.

The recent spate of new route announcements comes as United tries to shore up its domestic route network at its hubs.
