A Falcon 9 rocket, blasting off from Vandenberg Air Force base in California, successfully launched a remote-sensing satellite for the Government of Taiwan. It was SpaceX’s 11th successful launch of the year.

Minutes after launch, the Falcon 9 first stage returned to Earth and landed successfully on the drone ship “Just Read the Instructions” in the Pacific Ocean.

SpaceX’s next Falcon 9 launch is scheduled for September 7th at the Kennedy Space Center where a Falcon 9 will launch the X-37B, the Air Force’s experimental space plane.
